Clarksville Rd., Waynesville, OH, to consider a Conditional Use application filed by Kassie Webb for 4512 Lytle Road (PID: 0508200053).

 

The applicant is seeking a Conditional Use in the R1 District per section 1.304 of the Wayne Township Zoning Code. The purpose of the use is to turn an existing 60'x90' barn into an event venue on this 17.982 acre tract in which the applicant resides.

RE:       Mt. Holly Road Closure.

 

 

Mt. Holly Road to be closed for three weeks for culvert rehabilitation project.

                                                                                                                                                                    

Lebanon, Ohio – Wayne Township, Warren County, Ohio – On behalf of the Wayne Township, Mt. Holly Road, located between Old Stage Road and Penewit Road, will be closed beginning Wednesday, July 17, 2019, through August 7, 2019, weather permitting.  The closure is for the rehabilitation of a township culvert, which is being constructed by the DDK Construction Inc. and the Wayne Township Highway Department.

The detour will utilize Penewit Road to Sears Road to Old Stage Road to US42 to Mt. Holly Road. 

 

The Wayne Township Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at 7:00 p.m., at the Wayne Twp. Administration Building, 6050 N. Clarksville Rd., Waynesville, OH, to take public comment in consideration of a rezoning/Village Transition Planned Unit Development (VT PUD) application filed by John Federle. The applicant seeks a VT PUD overlay permissive of more dense single family residential development than otherwise permitted in the current R-1 Residence Single Family Zone located at 5615 Lytle Rd. in addition to 1.29 acres to the rear of 5621 Lytle Rd.

New Burlington Road to Close for Twelve Weeks for Bridge Replacement

                                                      Lebanon, Ohio – Wayne Township, Warren County, Ohio – New Burlington Road Bridge (BR36-1.94), over Shaffers Run between Corwin Avenue and Furnas-Oglesby Road, will be closed for replacement beginning Tuesday, May 28, 2019, for twelve (12) weeks, weather permitting. The bridge replacement project will be constructed by Sunesis Construction Company.

 

The detour for the closure will utilize Corwin Avenue, US 42, Roxanna-New Burlington Road, and Wilson Road.

Did you know that temporary and/or portable signs are prohibited in the public right-of-way?  

Yard sale signs, team sign-up signs, event announcements...etc. are all prohibited in the public-right-of way. These signs can obscure the vision of motorists and motorcyclists leading to unsafe driving conditions and create challenges for the Local, County and State crews that maintain the rights-of-way, or areas along our road ways. 

 

Signs may be displayed on private property, outside the right-of-way, with the permission of the property owner. Limit of 1 per 20 feet of roadway per section 3.407.6 of the Wayne Township Zoning Code and Wayne Township Board of Trustees Resolution 2017-36. No permit or fee is needed if they are under 4 sq. ft. in area and less than 4 ft. tall.

 

Larger signs need to be located at least 10' outside of the right-of-way and are limited to 24 sq. ft. 

 

Signs will be collected on a regular basis and held for at least 1 week at the Wayne Township Administration Building at 6050 N. Clarksville Rd.
