The Wayne Township Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing on Thur., October 16, 2018 at 7:30 p.m., at the Wayne Twp. Administration Building, 6050 N. Clarksville Rd., Waynesville, OH, to take public comment in consideration of a rezoning application filed by David Brixey. The applicant seeks to remove a previously approved residential PUD overlay and revert back to the base zoning of R-1 (Residence Single Family Zone).
The Wayne Township Board of Trustees is accepting applications in consideration to serve on the Zoning Commission as well as the Board of Zoning Appeals.

Old SR 122 and Township Line OPEN TO TRAFFIC
The construction of the Old SR 122 and Township Line Road Intersection Improvements Project is complete and the intersection is now open to traffic. The single lane roundabout and various roadway improvements at the intersection were constructed by Rack & Ballauer Excavating Co. Inc. for a bid price of $1,378,704.02. The project was funded by the Warren County Road and Bridge Fund and Federal (HSIP) Highway Safety Improvement Program Funds.

Beginning Monday, April 30, 2018, the intersection of Old SR 122 (CR 230) and Township Line Road (CR 134) will be closed for sixteen (16) weeks, weather permitting. The closure is for the construction of the Old SR 122 and Township Line Road Intersection Improvements Project that consists of a single lane roundabout and various roadway improvements.
The posted detour for the closure will utilize SR 48, Miller Road, US 42, and Lower Springboro Road. Access will be maintained to all residential drives inside the closure through each individual leg of the intersection. Local traffic will not be permitted to utilize the intersection.
Did you know that temporary and/or portable signs are prohibited in the public right-of-way?
Yard sale signs, team sign-up signs, event announcements...etc. are all prohibited in the public-right-of way. These signs can obscure the vision of motorists and motorcyclists leading to unsafe driving conditions and create challenges for the Local, County and State crews that maintain the rights-of-way, or areas along our road ways.
Signs may be displayed on private property, outside the right-of-way, with the permission of the property owner. Limit of 1 per 20 feet of roadway per section 3.407.6 of the Wayne Township Zoning Code and Wayne Township Board of Trustees Resolution 2017-36. No permit or fee is needed if they are under 4 sq. ft. in area and less than 4 ft. tall.
Signs will be collected on a regular basis and held for at least 1 week at the Wayne Township Administration Building at 6050 N. Clarksville Rd.
